Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026 · v2026-08-17

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Aparator, a private hub for your family. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data. By using Aparator, you agree to both.

Aparator is in beta. Features may change, break, or be unavailable while we build, and these Terms will evolve with the product. We'll update the date above when they do.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Aparator, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

If you set up Aparator for your family, you confirm you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of the account and to add the family members you invite.

2. Description of Service

Aparator is a private family hub: a shared calendar, plans, opt-in location sharing, messaging, documents, family money records, and Myla — an AI assistant that helps coordinate your family.

Aparator records and organizes the family money information you enter, but it does not move, hold, or transfer money; any actual payments happen in the payment app you choose.

3. Accounts and Family Members

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. A family is made up of the members an account owner invites.

Children do not sign up directly. A parent or guardian creates and manages a child's profile, oversees their activity, and provides consent on the child's behalf. You are responsible for the family members you add and for supervising any children in your family.

4. Acceptable Use

Use Aparator only for lawful, personal, family purposes. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, harass or harm others, attempt to access another family's data, or interfere with or disrupt the service.

We may suspend or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service.

5. AI Assistant (Myla) and Its Limitations

Myla can make mistakes

Myla is an AI assistant built on third-party AI models. She can be wrong. Everything Myla generates — briefings, summaries, suggested plans, drafted messages or payments, created or moved calendar events, and flags on suspicious messages — is assistive only and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing Myla's output and confirming any action before you rely on it, especially anything involving money, health, schedules, or safety. Myla does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice.

Shield is not a guarantee

Shield's scanning is user-initiated: it analyzes the messages, links, or content you choose to submit. It is not an automatic, always-on filter, it will not catch every scam, phishing attempt, or malicious link, and a "safe" result is not a guarantee. Treat Myla and Shield as a helpful second opinion — not a substitute for your own judgment.

6. Beta Status and Availability

Aparator is in active beta. Features may be incomplete, change, break, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times.

We provide the service without any uptime, availability, or data-preservation commitment during the beta. We recommend keeping your own copies of important documents.

7. Content and Documents You Upload

You keep ownership of the content and documents you upload — messages, photos, and files such as passports, insurance, and school forms. You are responsible for having the right to upload and share what you add.

You grant Aparator the limited rights needed to store, display, and process that content to provide the service to your family, including sending relevant content to our AI provider to power Myla. See the Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

8. Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using Aparator at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

When you delete your account, we remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy. If you are the last member of a family, the family's shared data is deleted with it.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Aparator is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Aparator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated output or Shield results. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Aparator evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Aparator after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
